PCMC Prioritises Inclusive Development; Sports Meet for Special Students Begins

Pimpri : The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation has reaffirmed its commitment to the holistic development of disabled students, with Mayor Ravi Landge stating that more inclusive initiatives will be undertaken in the future.

The 2026–27 sports competitions for intellectually challenged and specially-abled students were inaugurated at Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Sports Complex in Indrayani Nagar. Various events such as running, shot put, long jump and softball are being held, with enthusiastic participation from students.

Mayor Landge said, such competitions not only showcase talent but also boost confidence, determination and inclusivity.

Civic officials, teachers and public representatives were present at the event.
