Free SSB Training for Army, Navy, Air Force Aspirants; Apply by Oct 16

PUNE : Eligible candidates aspiring to join the Indian Army, Navy or Air Force as officers can avail themselves of free pre-training for the Services Selection Board (SSB) examination at the Pre-Recruitment Training Centre in Nashik.

District Sainik Welfare Officer Major S. Firasat has urged eligible and interested candidates from Pune district to apply without delay and appear for the interview at the District Sainik Welfare Office, Pune, on or before October 16, 2026.

The training programme will be conducted from October 19 to 28, 2026. Selected candidates will receive free training, accommodation and meals during the programme. Those selected must report to the Pre-Recruitment Training Centre, Nashik Road, Nashik, at 10 am on October 18.

Candidates appearing for the Pune interview must bring the admit card available on the Department of Sainik Welfare (DSW), Pune website, along with the accompanying annexure, duly completed in two copies.

Who Can Apply?

Candidates who have cleared the Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE-UPSC) or National Defence Academy Examination (NDA-UPSC) and are eligible for the SSB interview can apply.

Candidates holding SSB interview call letters under NCC Special Entry and the Technical Graduate Course are also eligible. Those who have received an SSB call letter through the university entry system or whose names appear on the list recommended for SSB are also eligible for the training.

Eligible candidates should not miss this opportunity. Aspirants are advised to complete the required documentation and report to the District Sainik Welfare Office, Pune, by October 16, 2026, for the interview and selection process.
