PCMC Demolishes Five Illegal Structures in Chikhali
Around 1,200 sq m of unauthorised construction removed in action under F Zone office
Pimpri-Chinchwad : The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) demolished five unauthorised structures in Ward No. 1 of Chikhali, under the F Zone office, removing approximately 1,200 square metres of illegal construction.
The demolition drive was carried out on the instructions of Municipal Commissioner Dr Vijay Suryawanshi and Additional Commissioner Trupti Sandbhor. The operation was conducted under the supervision of Atul Patil, F Zone Ward Office Officer and Assistant Commissioner. Deputy Engineer Hemant Ghod and beat inspectors Sainath Desai, Praful Bhokare, Aishwarya Masal and Suraj Mane were among the officials and staff present during the drive.
The operation involved six anti-encroachment police personnel, 50 Maharashtra Security Force personnel, two municipal workers and 10 contractual workers. The civic body deployed two tractors fitted with breakers and two JCB machines for the demolition. The drive was part of the civic administration’s action against unauthorised constructions in the city.
