Ambadas Danve Visits Pimpri-Chinchwad, Meets Sena Workers

• Former Opposition Leader visits Ganesh mandals, party offices and local workers

PIMPRI : Shiv Sena (UBT) MLA and former Maharashtra Legislative Council Leader of Opposition Ambadas Danve visited Pimpri-Chinchwad on Saturday, meeting party workers, office-bearers and Ganesh mandals across the city.

Danve began his visit at the Shiv Sena divisional office in Dapodi, where he was welcomed by city chief Chetan Pawar along with several party office-bearers, former and current functionaries, women’s wing members, Yuva Sena workers and Shiv Sainiks.

During the tour, Danve visited the Ganesh mandal led by Romi Sandhu in Pimpri and later met members of Sangharsh Tarun Mitra Mandal in Rahatani. He also visited Chetan Pawar’s residence and interacted with local party workers and senior Shiv Sainiks. Visits to various Ganesh mandals, Shiv Sena shakhas and local party units were also part of his programme.

Speaking during the visit, Danve raised concerns over the situation faced by farmers in different parts of Maharashtra. Referring to drought-like conditions, he said the government needed to pay serious attention to farmers’ problems.

While offering prayers to Lord Ganesha, Danve said, “The condition of farmers in the state has become difficult. May the state be free from drought, may there be good rainfall, and may people teach a lesson to those who ignore farmers’ problems. May those in power develop the wisdom to take people’s issues seriously.”

Danve’s visit saw a sizeable gathering of Shiv Sena (UBT) workers and office-bearers. The meetings also provided an opportunity for local party functionaries to interact with the senior leader amid ongoing organisational activities in Pimpri-Chinchwad.
