275 Shritikel Employees Donate Blood
- YCM Hospital Supports Corporate Blood Donation Drive in Pimpri
Pimpri : Demonstrating social commitment, 275 employees of Shritikel Company in the Pimpri Industrial Estate donated blood during a blood donation camp organized in association with the Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial (YCM) Hospital Blood Centre of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC).
The camp was organized with support from the YCM Hospital Blood Centre and Poona Hospital Blood Centre, Pune. Company officials and employees from various departments, along with Dr. Rajesh Pandharipande, actively participated in the initiative.
The employees contributed to this noble cause by donating blood for needy and underprivileged patients admitted to hospitals, extending their support towards community welfare. A total of 275 employees donated blood during the camp.
YCM Hospital Blood Centre Head Dr. Tushar Patil appreciated the initiative and appealed to other companies to organize similar blood donation drives, which can help workers and needy patients in the region.
During his visit to the company, Dr. Meena Sonawane from YCM Hospital guided employees about the importance of blood and blood component availability, and explained how blood donation benefits both donors and society.
The successful execution of the camp was supported by YCM Hospital Blood Centre’s Blood Transfusion Officer Dr. Neeta Ghadge, Dr. Ganesh Lande, Dr. Sneha Suryawanshi, Medical Social Worker Kishan Gaikwad, Ashwin Kanje, Nursing Officer Geeta Chavan, Vipul Gaikwad, Blood Centre Technician Vrushali Amrutkar, and the entire staff team.
