Political Parties Meet for Electoral Revision Drive in Pimpri

Pimpri : A meeting of representatives of national and state-level political parties was held in the 206 Pimpri (SC) Assembly Constituency to provide detailed information about the Special Intensive Revision Campaign being implemented by the Election Commission of India in Maharashtra.

Representatives and office-bearers of various political parties attended the meeting. Electoral Registration Officer Archana Yadav briefed the participants about the detailed process, schedule, and important aspects of the revision campaign.

She informed that distribution of Enumeration Forms through Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will begin from June 30, 2026, and the draft electoral roll will be published on August 5, 2026. After hearing objections and completing the required process, the final voter list will be published on October 7, 2026.

Yadav also highlighted that political parties need to appoint Booth Level Agents (BLA-2) for each electoral roll part. She emphasized that active participation from all political parties is essential to ensure that the voter list is updated and accurate.

The representatives present assured the administration of full cooperation during the special revision campaign.
