‘Bharat Jodo Samvad’ Initiative Begins in Pimpri-Chinchwad on Rahul Gandhi’s Birthday

– Campaign to spread awareness about Constitution, democracy and citizens’ rights

Pimpri : On the occasion of the birthday of Leader of Opposition in Parliament Rahul Gandhi, the Pimpri-Chinchwad City District Congress Committee has launched the ‘Bharat Jodo Samvad’ public awareness initiative from Friday, June 19.

The campaign aims to connect with students, youth, women, senior citizens, farmers, workers, traders and other sections of society to create awareness about the Indian Constitution, democratic values, secularism, citizens’ rights and responsibilities.

City Congress President Narendra Bansode said the initiative is inspired by Rahul Gandhi’s efforts to protect democracy and constitutional values.

The programme began with student interactions at secondary schools in Thergaon and Pimple Gurav. Communication trainer Balaji Jadhav and Indie Journal’s Prathamesh Patil will guide the sessions.

The ‘Bharat Jodo Samvad’ campaign will continue across Pimpri-Chinchwad from June 19 to July 5.
