Warning Against Forced Conversions: Protest March Held in Kalewadi
Pimpri : A large protest march was held in Kalewadi on Sunday against alleged illegal religious conversions. The ‘Aakrosh Morcha’, attended by thousands of residents including women, was organised to demand strict action against those accused of luring people into conversion through inducements and superstition.
The march proceeded from Panchnath Chowk to Abhaji Nanekar Chowk, drawing participation from several political leaders and social activists. Among those present were MLA Shankar Jagtap, MLA Gopichand Padalkar, MLA Uma Khapre, and other local representatives.
Addressing the gathering, MLA Shankar Jagtap warned the administration against ignoring the issue, stating that public patience should not be tested.
