ST Bus Accident on Supe Road; Sunetra Pawar Directs Prompt Treatment for Injured Students
– 30–40 Vidya Pratishthan students injured in accident on Chaufula-Supe road
Pune : Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar has taken immediate cognisance of the accident involving a Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) bus on the Chaufula-Supe road on Wednesday morning.
Around 30 to 40 students of Vidya Pratishthan School in Supe were injured in the accident. Pawar spoke over the phone with the Additional Superintendent of Police and the school principal and directed the administration to ensure prompt and proper medical treatment for the injured students.
The accident occurred when the students were travelling to school in an ST bus as usual. After receiving information about the incident, local residents and the administration rushed to the spot and began relief and rescue operations.
The injured students were shifted to hospitals in Patas, Chaufula and Loni Kalbhor for treatment. Pawar also enquired about the condition of the injured students and directed officials to ensure all necessary assistance at the accident site and hospitals without delay.
The administration said medical treatment is currently underway and the condition of the injured students is stable. Pawar appealed to parents and citizens not to panic.
