NCP (SP) Celebrates Graduates’ Poll Victory in Pimpri-Chinchwad
Party workers distribute sweets to citizens; leaders hail mandate as a victory for democracy and opposition unity
Pimpri-Chinchwad : The Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar) celebrated its electoral success in the Pune and Marathwada Graduates’ Constituency elections, while also congratulating the Congress for its victory in the Nagpur Graduates’ Constituency election.
The celebrations were organised in Pimpri-Chinchwad, where party leaders and workers distributed sweets among citizens and expressed their happiness over the election results.
Harshada Deshmukh-Jadhav won from the Pune Graduates’ Constituency, while Dr Pratapsingh Vedprakash Patil emerged victorious from the Marathwada Graduates’ Constituency, representing the NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar). The Congress also secured a significant victory in the Nagpur Graduates’ Constituency.
Speaking on the occasion, NCP youth city president Imran Shaikh said, “This victory is not merely an electoral success but a victory of faith in democracy and the verdict of educated voters against a corrupt government. The results have once again demonstrated the strength of Maha Vikas Aghadi’s unity, the hard work of party workers and the trust of the people.”
The celebrations witnessed the participation of several party leaders and office-bearers, including former city president Tushar Kamthe, party leader Sulakshanatai Shilwant-Dhar, youth president Imran Shaikh, women’s wing president Jyotitai Nimbalkar, state office-bearers Sandeep Chavan, Wasim Pathan, Yogesh Sonawane and Prashant Kalel.
Other attendees included Kamrunissa Shaikh, Rekha More, Kalpana Ghadge, secretary Parmeshwar Gaikwad, social activist Rahul Sonawane, Sushant Gaikwad, Ashraf Shaikh and Sunil Rathod, along with several party workers and supporters.
