Pimpri-Chinchwad Joins Fuel & Oil Saving Awareness Drive
- BJP Mahila Morcha Campaign Promotes Sustainable Living and Resource Conservation
Pimpri : An awareness campaign on ‘Fuel Conservation and Edible Oil Saving’ received an enthusiastic response from citizens across Pimpri-Chinchwad. The initiative aimed to highlight the importance of conserving natural resources for sustainable development and protecting the environment.
The campaign was organized under the guidance of BJP Mahila Morcha State President Chitra Wagh and with the support and guidance of BJP Pimpri-Chinchwad City President Shatrughan (Bapu) Kate, MLA Mahesh Landge, MLA Shankar Jagtap, MLA Umatatai Khapre, MLA Amit Gorakhe, and Mahila Morcha President Sujata Palande.
The initiative focused on spreading awareness among citizens about reducing fuel consumption, using edible oil wisely, and adopting responsible habits to prevent future resource shortages.
BJP General Secretary Madhukar Bacche played an important role in planning the campaign along with women office-bearers. Mahila Morcha General Secretary Anagha Rudra, Vice President Aishwarya Babar, Secretary Swati Deshmukh, Vice President Sanjana Marathe, and Jaishree Makwana contributed significantly to the successful execution of the programme.
Mandals and women volunteers, including Neeta Kushare, Swati Jadhav, Joshna Kalate, Kiran Pachpande, Manisha Kulkarni, Meenakshi Gaikwad, Vasudha Deshpande, Supriya Vazhe, Swati Pawar, and Neeta Bhalerao, interacted with citizens through door-to-door outreach and awareness drives in various areas.
During the campaign, citizens were encouraged to increase the use of public transport and adopt energy-saving practices. Guidance was also provided on the proper use of cooking oil to maintain health and reduce wastage.
The socially driven awareness initiative has received appreciation from citizens and various sections of society for promoting environmental responsibility and sustainable lifestyle practices.
