No Compromise on Quality, Complete Civic HQ on Time : Ravi Landge

Pimpri : Stressing timely delivery without compromising on quality, Pimpri-Chinchwad mayor Ravi Landge on Friday directed civic officials to ensure that the new municipal administrative building coming up near the Science Park in Chinchwad is completed within the stipulated deadline.

During an on-site inspection of the ongoing construction, the mayor reviewed the progress and assessed the quality of work across various components of the project. He instructed officials to maintain strict quality standards at every stage and avoid any lapses that could affect the long-term utility of the facility.

Calling the project a key step towards modernising civic administration, Landge said the new building would serve as a centralised hub offering efficient, transparent and technology-driven services to citizens. “This is not just an infrastructure project but a future-ready service centre. Citizens should be able to access multiple civic services under one roof in a seamless manner,” he said.

Municipal commissioner Dr. Vijay Suryavanshi said the work is progressing in a planned manner with close monitoring at every phase. “Quality, safety and adherence to timelines remain our top priorities. All departments are coordinating to ensure timely completion,” he added.

Chief engineer Pramod Ombhase also briefed the mayor on the construction progress and key milestones achieved so far. Several corporators and senior officials, including Supriya Chandgude, Anuradha Gorakhe, Kushagra Kadam and other engineering staff, were present during the inspection. The civic body expects the new headquarters to significantly enhance administrative efficiency and citizen service delivery once completed.
