BJP Camps Bring Governance to Doorstep, Says MLA Shankar Jagtap

Pimpri : Emphasising the BJP’s commitment to “Antyodaya” and last-mile service delivery, Chinchwad MLA Shankar Jagtap on Friday said governance must reach the doorstep of citizens, ensuring swift resolution of issues without bureaucratic delays.

He was speaking at the inauguration of a “Samadhan Shibir” organised under the ‘Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Maharashtra Abhiyan’ at Pimple Gurav. The camp offered around 15 government services under one roof, including land record corrections, income and caste certificates, non-creamy layer documents, and benefits under welfare schemes like the Sanjay Gandhi Niradhar Yojana.

Senior officials, including additional chief secretary Vikas Kharge and district collector Jitendra Dudi, lauded the initiative, stating it reduces the need for citizens to visit multiple government offices.

Jagtap said such outreach programmes have improved administrative transparency and ensured that government schemes reach the last beneficiary efficiently.
