Kranti Krida Mandal keeps Pimple Saudagar’s cultural traditions alive

– MLA Shankar Jagtap praises the mandal’s social and cultural initiatives

PIMPRI : Pimple Saudagar may have emerged as a prominent locality on the global map, but efforts to preserve its cultural and spiritual traditions continue through community organisations such as the Kranti Krida Mandal, said Chinchwad MLA Shankar Jagtap.

Jagtap was speaking to the media after performing the aarti of Lord Ganesha at the Ganesh festival celebration organised by the Kranti Krida Mandal on Monday evening. Industrialist Sandeep Kate had invited Jagtap to attend the aarti organised by the mandal.

Jagtap appreciated the mandal’s contribution to social, religious and cultural activities in the area.

“Kranti Krida Mandal organises various social and cultural activities throughout the year along with the Ganesh festival. Blood donation camps, health camps, Independence Day and Republic Day celebrations, Diwali and other festivals are organised with enthusiasm. I extend my best wishes to the mandal for continuing cultural traditions while fulfilling its social responsibilities,” Jagtap said.

BJP city president Shatrughna Kate, corporator Anita Kate, Kunda Bhise, social worker Sanjay Bhise, Nilesh Kate and Dheeraj Kate were present along with office-bearers and members of the Kranti Krida Mandal.
