Yashada Realty Organises Tree Plantation Drive in Punawale
– Company sets target of planting 5,000 trees and undertakes three-year maintenance commitment
Pimpri : Amid rapid urbanisation, leading real estate company Yashada Realty organised a tree plantation drive at Punawale on Sunday under its ‘Green Reimagination Plantation Drive 2026’, spreading the message of environmental conservation.
The initiative witnessed participation from public representatives, social workers, Forest Department officials and prominent citizens. Yashada Realty has set a target of planting 5,000 trees this year and has announced that it will undertake their maintenance and upkeep for the next three years.
The company had planted around 2,000 trees last year, of which 1,860 are reportedly growing well. Building on this experience, the company said greater emphasis would be placed on ensuring the survival and long-term growth of the trees rather than merely increasing plantation numbers.
Former MLA Ashwini Jagtap, BJP president Shatrughna Kate, Kunda Bhise, Anita Kate, Shruti Ram Wakadkar, Jayanath Kate, Sanjay Bhise, Raju Masulkar, entrepreneur N.B. Bhondve and Forest Department officials Jagtap and Kadam were among those present.
Yashada Realty CMD Vasant Kate, MD Suryakant Jadhav, MD Vijay Kate, Navnath Dhawale and members of the company team also participated in the plantation drive.
Trustees and representatives of several prominent religious institutions, including Sant Tukaram Maharaj Devasthan, Dehu; Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Devasthan, Alandi; Sant Muktabai Sansthan, Muktainagar; Sadhakashram; and Shri Kshetra Bhandara Dongar Devasthan, also attended the programme.
