Meeting Held with MSEDCL to Resolve Frequent Power Cuts in Rahatani-Tapkir Nagar

Demand for urgent measures to ensure uninterrupted power supply; faulty electricity boxes inspected

Pimpri: Residents of the Rahatani-Tapkir Nagar ward have been facing frequent power outages, causing inconvenience to students, IT professionals working from home, business owners and senior citizens.

Taking note of the issue, a meeting was held with MSEDCL Additional Executive Engineer Dnyaneshwar Tarange and Assistant Engineer Sunil Kadam under the guidance of MLA Shankar Jagtap. Discussions were held on the recurring power disruptions and necessary measures to ensure a stable and uninterrupted electricity supply.

A letter was also submitted seeking replacement and relocation of the damaged LT box at Adinath Colony. Officials were urged to inspect faulty HT boxes across the ward and replace them wherever necessary.

The electricity boxes at Adinath Colony, Purandar Colony and Samata Colony were also inspected during the visit. Officials were directed to install new boxes at locations where replacement is urgently required.

The representatives said they would continue to follow up with MSEDCL until the power supply issue is permanently resolved, stressing that providing basic civic services is a responsibility towards citizens.

MSEDCL officials, social workers Vikas Yakshinge and Prashant Kunjir, along with local residents, were present during the inspection.
