MLA Mahesh Landge Appointed to Pune District Mineral Foundation Governing Council

• BJP MLA to play key role in development of mineral-affected areas

Pune : BJP MLA Mahesh Landge has been appointed as a member of the Governing Council of the District Mineral Foundation (DMF), Pune, under the Mahayuti government led by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

The appointment has been made in accordance with the Maharashtra Government Resolution issued on August 4, 2026. Landge will continue as a council member as long as he remains an elected public representative.

The Governing Council is responsible for overseeing the effective utilisation of DMF funds for development works in mineral-affected areas, including infrastructure, healthcare, education and water supply.

Landge said he would work to ensure that DMF funds are used effectively, transparently and in the public interest, while accelerating development in mineral-affected areas of Pune district.
