Ganeshotsav Permissions Now Available Online

  • Ganesh Mandals Can Apply for Pandal, Procession and Loudspeaker Permissions Digitally

Pimpri : With preparations for Ganeshotsav underway, public Ganesh mandals can now apply online for necessary permissions for pandal construction, processions and loudspeaker use, reducing the need for repeated visits to government offices.

Mandals must obtain the required approvals from the concerned authorities before installing idols at public places. Depending on the arrangements, permissions may be required from the local administration, police, fire and traffic departments.

Documents Required for Application

Applicants may be required to submit the Ganesh mandal’s name and details, information about office-bearers, identity proofs of the president and secretary, details of the pandal location, consent or No-Objection Certificate (NOC) from the landowner, pandal layout/plan, procession route and timings, and details of the proposed loudspeaker and temporary electricity connection.

Organisers have been advised to obtain an authorised temporary electricity connection from MSEDCL and avoid illegal connections. While using loudspeakers or DJs, mandals must follow prescribed timings and noise limits. They have also been urged to ensure that processions do not obstruct traffic and that no objectionable content or rumours are circulated.
