Traffic on Mumbai-Pune Expressway to Be Halted Briefly on April 23-24
Pune : The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation will temporarily halt traffic on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway for bridge maintenance work near Dongargaon/Kusgaon.
According to officials, Mumbai-bound traffic will remain completely closed on April 23 (Thursday) from 12 pm to 3 pm. Vehicles will be diverted via Kiwale–Dehu Road–Talegaon to National Highway 48 and rejoin at Kusgaon toll plaza.
Similarly, Pune-bound traffic will be shut on April 24 (Friday) from 12 pm to 3 pm. Vehicles will be diverted from Kusgaon toll plaza via NH-48 through Dehu Road–Kiwale towards Pune.
Authorities have advised motorists to plan their travel accordingly and use alternate routes during the specified hours. Helpline numbers have also been issued for assistance during the closure.
