- Anup More applauds women as vibrant Mangalagauri celebrations showcase Maharashtra’s cultural heritage
Pimpri : Former BJP Yuva Morcha State President Anup More attended the traditional Mangalagauri programme organised as part of Nari Shakti Mahotsav 2026, an initiative of the Maharashtra Government and MLC Uma Khapre. He appreciated the enthusiastic participation of women and lauded their efforts in preserving Maharashtra’s cultural traditions.
Held during the afternoon session on July 28, the programme featured vibrant performances by women’s self-help groups and cultural teams. Through traditional games, folk songs and dance, participants showcased the rich heritage of Maharashtra while delivering meaningful social messages.
The performances highlighted themes such as women’s empowerment, family values, education, healthcare, social responsibility and community harmony. The audience responded with enthusiastic applause as the event beautifully blended cultural traditions with social awareness.
Speaking on the occasion, Anup More congratulated the participating women and organisers, saying such cultural initiatives provide a valuable platform for women to showcase their talent while promoting positive social values.
