Shocking Crime in Chakan: Three-Year-Old Boy Assaulted, Murdered; Minor Held
Pimpri : A shocking incident has come to light in Khalumbre, located in the Chakan area, where a three-year-old child was brutally murdered after being subjected to unnatural sexual assault and having his throat slit with a knife.
Following the incident, police from the Chakan and South Mahalunge stations skillfully apprehended a minor accused at the Pune Railway Station, just as he was preparing to flee to Bihar. The deceased child’s mother works as a daily wage laborer in the Khalumbre area. On Friday afternoon, her three-year-old son suddenly went missing. The mother searched the surrounding area and nearby drains, but the child could not be found. Eventually, the police were alerted. While searching the rooms in the vicinity, the police grew suspicious of a locked room. Upon breaking down the door and entering, they discovered the child’s blood-stained body stuffed inside a suitcase.
The investigation revealed that the accused had subjected the child to unnatural sexual assault before murdering him by slitting his throat with a knife. The accused had arrived in Chakan from Bihar just a month prior to work as a laborer. After committing the crime, he locked the room and fled the scene. Acting on technical intelligence, the police tracked him down to the Pune Railway Station, where he was waiting to board a train bound for Bihar.
According to Senior Police Inspector Vijay Dhamal, the accused has confessed to the crime. The South Mahalunge Police are conducting further investigations into the matter, while this heinous act has sparked intense outrage throughout the locality.
