Free Water Distributed to Thousands at Bhim Srushti to Mark Ambedkar Jayanti

Pimpri : Marking the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and the centenary year of the historic Mahad “Chavdar Tale Satyagraha”, a social initiative was taken at Bhim Srushti, where free drinking water bottles were distributed to thousands of citizens.

The initiative aimed not only at providing relief amid rising summer heat but also at spreading a strong message of social equality. Recalling the historic struggle against denial of basic rights like access to water, the programme highlighted the importance of equality and unity in society.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from youth, women, senior citizens, and social activists. Citizens appreciated the effort, calling it a meaningful tribute that connects history with present-day social awareness.

The initiative was organised by Adv. Umesh Khandare, youth leader Hirachand Jadhav, Rajan Gunjal, and Adv. Dhammaraj Salve, who emphasized the need to promote equality, fraternity, and humanity inspired by Dr. Ambedkar’s ideals.
