PCMC Organises Mega Health Drive with Check-ups, Expert Guidance and Ayushman Card Registration

Pimpri : The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has organized a series of public welfare initiatives under the ‘Vichar Prabodhan Parv and Samajik Samata Mahasaptah’ from April 11 to April 17. As part of this initiative, a mega free health camp will be held on April 12, along with blood donation camps scheduled from April 12 to 14 at Bhimsrushti, near the memorial of Krantisurya Mahatma Jyotirao Phule and Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar in Pimpri.

The health camp will offer citizens access to expert medical consultations, comprehensive health check-ups, and guidance on various diseases. Facilities for registration of ABHA and Ayushman cards will also be available, along with free distribution of essential medicines.

PCMC Mayor Ravi Landge urged citizens to take advantage of the initiative, emphasizing that such camps enable early diagnosis and promote preventive healthcare. Municipal Commissioner Dr. Vijay Suryavanshi highlighted that regular health check-ups and voluntary blood donation are crucial for community well-being and can significantly support patients in need.

The week-long programme also includes cultural activities, aiming at holistic social development alongside healthcare awareness. Citizens are encouraged to participate actively and contribute to building a healthier society.
