Mob Strips and Assaults Alleged Cattle Smuggler in Nagpur’s Dighori Area

A shocking incident has come to light in which a man accused of cattle smuggling was forced to strip by a group, along with being assaulted. The incident took place around 11 p.m. on Sunday in the Dighori area, where a vehicle allegedly transporting cows from Pawani–Bhandara towards Nagpur was stopped. The incident has now sparked major controversy, and a police complaint has also been filed—surprisingly, against the driver of the vehicle.

According to the information received, members of the Hindu Ekta Pratishthan had learned that a vehicle suspected of cattle smuggling would be passing through the Dighori route around 11 p.m. Following this tip-off, hundreds of activists, including Swapnil Salunkhe, waited in hiding at the spot. When the vehicle arrived, they stopped it and confirmed that cows were being transported in it. The activists then assaulted the driver and forced him to strip.

The driver, who was stripped and beaten, was taken in the same condition to the Hudkeshwar Police Station. The activists filed a complaint against him and handed him over to the Hudkeshwar police. Police officials said that a case has now been registered against the driver, and further investigation is underway.
