Devotion, Emotion and a Message of Change Mark Padayatra in Ward No. 13, Yamunanagar

Nigdi : In the backdrop of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation elections, a padayatra organised by Shiv Sena–Republican Sena (Anandraj Ambedkar group) candidates in Ward No. 13, Yamunanagar–Nigdi Gaothan on Sunday turned into a powerful expression of public sentiment rather than just an election campaign.

The presence of actress Pooja Kale, widely known for her role in ‘Aai Tuljabhavani’ on Colors Marathi, created a deeply devotional and emotional atmosphere across the area. Residents gathered in large numbers, responding with enthusiasm, devotion, and warmth.

The padayatra witnessed active participation from candidates Mrs. Sulabha Ramabhau Ubale (Serial No. 1C – General Woman), Mrs. Shubhangi Sanjay Borhade (Serial No. 4B – NMC Backward Category Woman), and Mr. Tanaji Hiramann Shide (Serial No. 6D – General), who interacted directly with citizens throughout the route.

The procession commenced at 9 am with a floral tribute to the statue of Lokshahir Annabhau Sathe in Nigdi. It then passed through Nigdi Vasahat, the crematorium area, Azad Chowk, Rahul Nagar, Vilas Nagar, Rajnagar, Sanjay Nagar, Indira Nagar, and Sangram Nagar. At several locations, residents welcomed the candidates with flower showers and slogans.

Addressing the gathering, Pooja Kale delivered an emotional appeal, stating, “Just as Aai Tuljabhavani protects her devotees, these candidates are committed to protecting and serving the people of the ward with the same dedication.” She urged citizens to press the ‘Bow and Arrow’ symbol on Thursday, January 15, and ensure a decisive victory for all Shiv Sena candidates.

The padayatra generated a strong sense of faith, hope, and positive change in the ward. With growing public support clearly visible, the event is being seen as a significant morale booster for Sulabha Ubale and her fellow candidates ahead of the crucial polling day.
