BJP City President Shatrughan Kate Takes Charge; Determined to Secure Panel Victory in Ward No. 28

Pimple Saudagar (Correspondent): In the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation elections, BJP City President and former corporator Shatrughan (Bapu) Kate has personally taken responsibility for ensuring the victory of the official BJP panel from Ward No. 28, underlining the importance of leadership and organisational strength in the crucial civic battle.
With Kate shouldering the leadership role, fresh enthusiasm has been seen among panel members. Campaigning has gained momentum across the ward, with candidates receiving warm welcomes and traditional “ovalni” at several locations.
The BJP’s official panel in Ward No. 28 comprises (A) Shatrughan (Bapu) Kate, (B) Mrs. Anita Sandeep Kate, (C) Mrs. Kunda Bhise and (D) Sandesh Kate. The campaign is centred around people-oriented decisions taken by the BJP governments at the state and central levels, along with the substantial development works carried out during the party’s tenure in the municipal corporation. Candidates have begun door-to-door outreach, presenting a report card of completed works and engaging directly with citizens.
After filing their nomination papers, Shatrughan Kate, Anita Kate and other panel members expressed gratitude to residents for the trust and support shown towards them.
“Years of experience, an honest and transparent working style, and a strong bond with citizens are our real strengths. With this confidence, I have resolved to take the lead and ensure the victory of the entire panel for the all-round development of the ward,” said Shatrughan Kate.
Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Anita Sandeep Kate said, “Priority will be given to issues concerning women, youth and senior citizens, while further accelerating the pace of development. On the strength of concrete and result-oriented work in areas such as cleanliness, water supply, healthcare and safety, and under the capable leadership of City President Shatrughan Kate, the entire panel will surely emerge victorious in Pimple Saudagar–Rahatani.”
She further added that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the guidance of local MLA Shankarbhau Jagtap, this election is crucial for achieving comprehensive development of the ward.
