BJP Corporators Inspect Civic Issues in Pimple Saudagar

Pimpri : BJP corporators conducted an on-ground inspection of various civic issues in Ward No. 28, Pimple Saudagar, and called for immediate measures to address problems related to road infrastructure, drainage, public safety and ongoing development works.

Devagiri (D) Ward Office chairperson and corporator Savita Khule, along with officials from concerned departments, recently visited several locations in the ward to assess the problems faced by residents. BJP city president and corporator Shatrughan Kate, corporator Anitatai Sandeep Kate and corporator Kundatai Sanjay Bhise were also present during the inspection.

The corporators raised concerns regarding the ongoing work on Kunal Icon Road and Kokane Road and urged the civic administration to complete the projects at the earliest so that the roads can be opened for public use.

Anitatai Sandeep Kate highlighted a safety concern on Kunal Icon Road near the Mahavitaran office, where a large electrical transformer located close to the footpath was found surrounded by soil and overgrown vegetation. She said the condition could pose a safety risk to pedestrians and sought necessary measures around the transformer.

A major concern was also raised regarding the Londe Vasti area, where rainwater and floodwater reportedly enter residents’ homes during heavy rainfall. The corporators demanded a permanent drainage solution instead of temporary measures so that residents do not face the same problem every monsoon.

Issues concerning the Mahadev Temple area, including increasing the height of the ghat, were also discussed. Problems around the Shri Datt Mandir area and the Lokshahir Annabhau Sathe vegetable market were reviewed during the visit.

Khule assured the corporators that she would coordinate with the concerned departments and pursue the issues for early resolution. The officials were also directed to examine the problems and initiate necessary action.
