3,000+ Engineers, Students to Converge in Pune for National Concrete Day 2026
– Cutting-edge construction technology, green concrete and sustainable infrastructure solutions to take centre stage at two-day event
Pune : More than 3,000 engineering students, faculty members, practising engineers, consultants and industry professionals are expected to converge in Pune for National Concrete Day & Engineers’ Day 2026, a two-day technical event to be held on September 10 and 11 at Anantrao Pawar College of Engineering & Research (APCOER), Parvati.
Jointly organised by the Pune RMC Association, Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) and APCOER, the event will bring together academia and industry to discuss the latest developments in concrete technology, sustainable construction practices and innovation in the infrastructure sector.
The programme will feature a wide range of technical activities, including project and start-up presentations, research paper and poster presentations, technical competitions, Concrete Cube and Green Concrete Mix Design competitions, as well as technical seminars and industry interaction sessions.
A key attraction of the event will be a construction technology exhibition, where leading companies such as XCMG, THERMAX, JSW, Ammann, Putzmeister, REPOS and Sprint will showcase advanced construction equipment, products and innovative solutions.
The organisers said the event is aimed at strengthening industry–academia collaboration while giving young engineers practical exposure to emerging technologies and sustainable practices that are expected to shape India’s rapidly evolving construction and infrastructure sector.
With participation from students, professionals and industry leaders, the event is expected to serve as an important platform for knowledge exchange, technological innovation and sustainable construction solutions.
