MPSC Students Protest Over Alleged Irregularities, Demand Transparent Recruitment Process

Pune: Students preparing for Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) examinations have announced an agitation over alleged irregularities and malpractice in the examination and recruitment process, raising concerns about the future of thousands of aspirants who spend years preparing for government jobs.

The protesting students are demanding greater transparency in the MPSC recruitment process. They have called for clear and credible information regarding examination-related decisions, results and various stages of recruitment, along with a probe into the alleged irregularities and fixing of responsibility.

One of the major demands raised by the students is the resignation of the MPSC chairman. The protesters have argued that repeated questions over the recruitment process have created concerns among candidates and that the commission must address their grievances and restore confidence in the examination system.

A large number of competitive examination aspirants from different parts of Maharashtra are expected to participate in the agitation. The students are also planning a march through Pune to draw the attention of the state government and the commission to their demands.

The students have particularly raised concerns over allegations of malpractice, paper leaks and irregularities in examinations. They said candidates work hard for several years with the hope of securing government employment, but any irregularity in the examination process can directly affect their careers and undermine their efforts.

The protesters are demanding that MPSC examinations be conducted in a fair and transparent manner and that the recruitment process maintain credibility and accountability. They have warned that the agitation could intensify if their concerns are not addressed.
