Meter Inspection Facility for Calibrated Autorickshaws on Saturday

Pune : Autorickshaw drivers in the Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad and Baramati regional transport areas will be able to get their calibrated fare meters inspected on Saturday, September 12, following the implementation of the revised Autorickshaw fares from September 1.

According to the Regional Transport Office (RTO), the inspection of meters that have already undergone calibration will be conducted at a designated location in Karvenagar.

The meter inspection facility will be available from 8 am to 4 pm on Saturday, September 12, in front of Alankar Police Station, Karvenagar.

The facility has been arranged in connection with the revised fare structure applicable to autorickshaws operating in the Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad and Baramati areas from September 1. Autorickshaw meters need to reflect the applicable revised fares after calibration.

The inspection will provide autorickshaw operators with a designated opportunity to have their calibrated meters checked by the concerned authorities at a single location.

The RTO has urged eligible autorickshaw operators to visit the inspection facility at the specified venue and time to complete the meter inspection process.
