‘Vande Mataram’ Echoes Across Pune

• Thousands of Youth Unite for ‘Youth Ki Awaaz’ at SPPU

Pune : The campus of Savitribai Phule Pune University reverberated with chants of ‘Vande Mataram’ and patriotic songs as thousands of youngsters gathered for the special programme ‘Youth Ki Awaaz’, organised by the Vande Mataram Action Committee, Pune.

Former Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) state president Anup More participated in the programme and interacted with the youth. Addressing the gathering, More said that ‘Vande Mataram’ was not merely a song but a symbol of national consciousness that inspired the freedom struggle and united Indians.

“Today’s youth should not stop at raising slogans. They must shoulder their social and national responsibilities and actively contribute to building a developed India,” More said, urging youngsters to play a constructive role in the country’s progress.

More also participated in a rally organised as part of the programme. Carrying the Tricolour and raising ‘Vande Mataram’ slogans, thousands of youngsters created an atmosphere charged with patriotism across the university premises.

The programme concluded with thousands of participants singing ‘Vande Mataram’ together while holding up the lights of their mobile phones. The event presented a vibrant blend of patriotism, national unity and youth participation.
