Nigdi : Shiv Sena’s official candidate from Ward No. 13, Nigdi Gaothan, Ota Scheme (Sector 22), Yamunanagar and Sainathnagar, Mrs. Sulabha Rambhau Ubale, has entered the electoral fray for the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation 2026 elections with a clear agenda of women empowerment and all-round local development.

Along with her, B-category candidate Mrs. Shubhangi Sanjay Borhade (Women – Backward Category) and D-category candidate Mr. Tanaji Hiramani Shinde (General) are also contesting as official Shiv Sena nominees. All three candidates are receiving an enthusiastic response from citizens across the ward.

Addressing voters, Mrs. Ubale said that under the leadership of Deputy Chief Minister and Shiv Sena party chief Eknath Shinde, and Maval MP Shrirang Barne, several people-centric welfare schemes are being successfully implemented. She highlighted the ‘Ladki Bahin’ scheme as a major initiative that has provided financial support and self-confidence to thousands of women.

She assured that similar municipal welfare schemes would be effectively implemented to benefit eligible women in Ward 13. Strengthening coordination between the civic administration and citizens, ensuring swift grievance redressal, and promoting women-centric initiatives such as self-employment, savings groups, health check-up camps and guidance programmes will be key priorities.

Mrs. Ubale further stated that focused planning would be undertaken to improve basic amenities including water supply, roads, drainage, sanitation, street lighting, gardens and sports facilities. Appealing to voters, she said public trust and support remain the true strength of Shiv Sena, and pledged to raise every citizen’s voice firmly in the municipal corporation with transparency and commitment to development.
