Central Railway Announces Pune–Ghazipur Special Trains for Summer Rush

Pune: To manage the surge in summer travel, Central Railway has introduced special train services between Pune and Ghazipur City, scheduling a total of 44 trips with bi-weekly frequency in each direction.

Train No. 01431 Pune–Ghazipur Special will depart at 6:40 am every Tuesday and Friday from May 1 to July 14, completing 22 trips. The return service, Train No. 01432, will run from May 3 to July 16 every Thursday and Sunday, also for 22 trips. Notably, the return train will now terminate at Hadapsar instead of Pune station.

The trains will halt at key stations including Daund, Ahmednagar, Manmad, Bhusaval, Itarsi, Katni, Satna, Prayagraj, Varanasi, and Jaunpur, ensuring wide regional connectivity.

The service will comprise 18 coaches across AC, sleeper, and general classes. Reservations for Train No. 01431 open on April 15 via IRCTC Rail Connect and PRS counters. Passengers are advised to check schedules on NTES before travel.
