Appeal to Avail Benefits of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban)
Pune : Citizens belonging to the Scheduled Caste and Neo-Buddhist communities have been urged to take advantage of reserved housing units under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) being implemented through the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) in Pune.
According to the Social Welfare Department, a total of 57 housing units in Pune city have been reserved for citizens from Scheduled Caste and Neo-Buddhist categories under projects constructed by MHADA’s Pune Board.
Under the affordable housing component of the scheme, 2,398 housing units are being constructed across 12 projects by the MHADA Pune Board. Out of these, several units have been reserved specifically for Scheduled Caste and Neo-Buddhist beneficiaries.
The construction work of these projects has been completed and flats are currently available on a “first come, first served” basis.
