‘Mayor Yuva Sankalp Employment Centre’ Launched in Bhosari and Chakan
Pimpri : In a bid to prevent job fraud and support unemployed youth Pimpri-Chinchwad Mayor Ravi Landge has launched the ‘Mayor Yuva Sankalp Employment, Skill Development and Career Guidance Centre’ in Bhosari and Chakan.
The centre aims to provide completely free services, including job opportunities, registration, career counselling, and accommodation guidance for job seekers. The initiative is designed to assist youth arriving in industrial hubs like Pimpri-Chinchwad and Chakan, where many often face exploitation due to lack of proper guidance.
Speaking at the inauguration, Ravi Landge said the project focuses on offering “zero-cost employment support” to deserving candidates, ensuring they do not have to pay any fees for securing jobs. So far, around 2,000 youths have benefited from the initiative.
The launch event was attended by several dignitaries, including Dr. Sanjay Zhope, Sandeep Palande, Prakash Landge, Kailas Landge, Prathamesh Shelar, Akash Kand, Pratik Shinde, Adv. Pratik Borade, Sandeep Rathi, Nikhil Masne, Prashant Pawar, Rupesh Khopde, Jayashree Waghmode, Kanchan Jagtap, Krishna Agarwal and Abdul Ahmed.
The centres are open to candidates from all educational backgrounds, including SSC, HSC, ITI, diploma, engineering and graduation. Officials urged maximum participation from youth to take advantage of this free initiative aimed at building a skilled and self-reliant workforce.
