State Shines at 63rd National Bodybuilding Championship in Pimpri-Chinchwad

Pimpri : The ‘Mayor’s Cup – 63rd National Bodybuilding Championship and Junior Bodybuilding Competition 2026’ witnessed an overwhelming response from athletes across India in Pimpri-Chinchwad.

The event, jointly organised by the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, Indian Body Building and Fitness Federation, Maharashtra Body Builders Association and supported by the Pimpri-Chinchwad Amateur Body Building Association is being held at Prof. Ramkrishna More Auditorium, Chinchwad.

A total of 445 male and 50 female athletes from various states participated in the competition, competing in junior and senior categories across multiple segments including bodybuilding, classic, physique, and fitness.

The event is being conducted under the guidance of Mayor Ravi Landge, Deputy Mayor Sharmila Baber, and senior civic officials. Participants showcased exceptional physique, discipline, and presentation skills, while the competition rounds preliminary, semi-final, and final are being conducted in an organized manner in the presence of judges.

The championship has created a vibrant sporting atmosphere in the city, offering citizens a chance to witness top-level talent. The civic sports department has ensured proper arrangements, including accommodation and technical facilities for athletes and visitors.

The successfully organization of this national event has further enhanced Pimpri-Chinchwad’s reputation in the field of sports.
