Two-Day Yashofest Celebrates Innovation, Leadership and Creativity

  • More than 250 students participate in management and technical competitions

Pimpri : The two-day inter-collegiate management and technical festival ‘Yashofest’ was successfully organised at the Chinchwad campus of the International Institute of Management Science, run by Yashaswi Education Society. The festival witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various colleges.

More than 250 students from over 30 colleges, including MBA, MCA and other academic streams, participated in the festival. The event featured a variety of creative and innovative competitions such as Business Plan, Case Study Solution, Mock Stock, Quiz, BGMI Gaming Competition, Coding Competition, Error Hunt, Mad Ad, TED Talk Series on Business and IT, as well as art events like painting, rangoli, mehendi, sketching and design.

The competitions were judged by experts and professors based on creativity, presentation, innovation and problem-solving skills. Prizes were distributed to the winners at the hands of Mangesh Kulkarni, Chief Human Resource Officer of Nandan Group.

Speaking on the occasion, IIMS Director Dr. Shivaji Mundhe said the objective of the festival was to encourage teamwork, leadership and innovation among students and to provide a platform for them to showcase their creativity, managerial abilities, technical skills and entrepreneurial ideas.

The event was successfully organised with valuable contributions from MCA Department Head Dr. Ashwini Brahme and IQAC Coordinator Dr. Vandana Mohanty.
