Demand for Separate Police Station in Pimple Saudagar

• Corporator Dr. Kunda Bhise Pursues Issue Strongly

Pimpri : The demand for a separate police station in Pimple Saudagar has been raised due to the rapidly growing population and increasing security needs in the area. Corporator Dr. Kunda Sanjay Bhise submitted a memorandum to Police Commissioner Vinoy Choubey requesting the establishment of a police station in the locality.

In the letter, Kunda Bhise stated that residents currently depend on Sangvi Police Station, causing inconvenience due to distance and traffic congestion, particularly for women, senior citizens, and during emergencies. She also demanded that land owned by the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation be allocated for the new police station.

BJP city president and corporator Shatrughan Kate and corporator Anita Kate are also following up the issue. The Police Commissioner has assured that a decision will be taken soon.
