Tribute Paid to Annasaheb Patil; Resolve to Strengthen Labour Movement

Pimpri: Tributes were paid to late Annasaheb Patil, known as the pioneer of the Mathadi Act, on his death anniversary in Pimpri-Chinchwad. Floral tributes were offered at his statue at KSB Chowk, Chinchwad.

On the occasion, Shiv Sena Deputy Leader Irfan Sayyed said that Annasaheb Patil secured rightful recognition and protection for Mathadi workers, and his work continues to inspire the labour movement even today.

Office bearers of the Maharashtra Mathadi Workers Union, along with representatives of various Mathadi groups, cooperative institutions, and a large number of workers, were present for the tribute programme.

The speakers said they would continue working to give new direction and strength to the labour movement in memory of Annasaheb Patil.
