25,000 Students Receive Meal Plates on MLA Shankar Jagtap’s Birthday

Pimpri : Marking the birthday of Shankar Jagtap, the ‘Shankar Jagtap Mitra Parivar’ launched a meaningful social initiative by distributing meal plates to around 25,000 students studying in municipal primary schools under Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation.

Instead of spending on celebrations and hoardings, the group chose to provide essential items directly useful to students. The distribution drive has begun across various schools and is being carried out in phases.

Ravindra Landge, Sharmila Babar, corporators, and former office-bearers participated in the initiative.

“Shankar Jagtap has always prioritized the welfare of students. Distributing 25,000 meal plates reflects his sensitivity, and the smiles on students’ faces are the true birthday gift.”
