Mayor Reviews Jijau Flyover-Gangotri Park Road Work
Pimpri : Pimpri Chinchwad Mayor Ravi Landge reviewed the ongoing road work between Rajmata Jijau Flyover and Gangotri Park in Bhosari area and directed officials to complete the project on time while maintaining quality standards.
He instructed the municipal administration and police department to coordinate effectively to ensure minimum traffic disruption during the construction period. He also ordered strict action against encroachments and emphasized prioritizing citizens’ safety.
During the inspection, the Mayor also directed the traffic police to implement alternative traffic routes to avoid congestion. Civic departments including water supply, drainage, urban transport and town planning were instructed to complete all related infrastructure work simultaneously to avoid future road digging.
The Mayor announced that considering citizens’ safety and ongoing work, the road will remain completely closed till Shri Ram Navami. After that, depending on the progress of work, the road will be opened for one-way traffic in phases, and after completion of the project, it will be reopened for two-way traffic.
He appealed to citizens to cooperate with the police and municipal administration and use alternative routes during this period.
