PCMC Commissioner Shekhar Singh Transferred

Pimpri : Shekhar Singh, the Commissioner of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), has been transferred and will now become the Commissioner of Nashik Municipal Corporation. The state government’s General Administration Department has issued the orders.

He has been asked to hand over his current responsibilities to Shravan Hardikar, Managing Director of Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation, Nagpur, and start his new role immediately.

Shekhar Singh had joined PCMC as Commissioner on 16 August 2022. At that time, since the elected municipal local body was dismissed, he also worked as the Administrator.

During his time as Commissioner, many important development projects in Pimpri-Chinchwad moved forward. Now, Shravan Hardikar will manage the work of the PCMC.
