September 30 Deadline for 4% Property Tax Rebate

– PCMC urges property owners to pay online and avail second-quarter rebate

Pimpri-Chinchwad : September 30 is the last day for property owners in Pimpri-Chinchwad to avail themselves of a 4% rebate on the general component of property tax by making an online payment for the second quarter of the 2026-27 financial year.

The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation’s Property Tax Collection and Assessment Department has offered the rebate to property owners who pay their property tax online between July 1 and September 30, 2026.

The civic administration has urged those who have not yet paid their property tax to complete the online payment by midnight on September 30 and avail themselves of the 4% rebate.

More than 50,000 property owners have already availed themselves of the 4% rebate during the July-September period. The PCMC said the online payment facility has received a positive response and is being promoted to make tax payment easier and more transparent.

Meanwhile, more than 4 lakh citizens have paid over ₹601 crore in property tax between April 1 and September 29, up to 2 pm. The civic administration said citizens have been using online and other available modes to pay their property tax during the current financial year.

Property tax is an important source of revenue for the civic body and is used to provide civic services, infrastructure and development works across the city.

Seizure action after September 30

The PCMC has also warned that the recovery drive against outstanding property tax dues will be intensified after September 30. As part of the drive, properties with substantial outstanding dues, including industrial, non-residential, mixed-use and other properties, will face seizure action as per rules.
