PCMC Sets Rs. 1,300 Crore Property Tax Target; Action Against Defaulters From October 1

PIMPRI : The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has set a Rs. 1,300 crore property tax collection target for 2026-27 and directed officials to intensify recovery from defaulters.

Additional Commissioner Trupti Sandbhor instructed officials to give priority to outstanding dues from non-residential, industrial, mixed-use and vacant properties and form dedicated recovery teams. Notices should be issued to defaulters by September 30, followed by property attachment proceedings from October 1.

The civic body has collected Rs. 584.49 crore in property tax between April 1 and September 10. PCMC is offering a 4% rebate on general tax for online payments made by September 30.

Sandbhor urged property owners to pay their dues before the deadline and avail the rebate.
