Grand Tiranga Rally Held in Pimpri-Chinchwad
- MLA Mahesh Landge, MLA Amit Gorkhe and BJP city president Shatrughan Kate join rally led by labour leader Yashwant Bhosale
Pimpri : A grand Tiranga Rally was organised in Sant Tukaram Nagar under the leadership of National Shramik Aghadi founder-president and labour leader Yashwant Bhosale, in response to the appeal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
The rally was jointly organised by the National Shramik Aghadi, BJP Pimpri-Chinchwad city unit and Sant Tukaram Nagar Cooperative Housing Society. Bhosari MLA Mahesh Landge, Legislative Council MLA Amit Gorkhe, BJP city president Shatrughan Bapu Kate, Sadashiv Khade, party leader Prashant Shitole, Aziz Bhai Shaikh and others participated. Thousands of citizens joined the rally carrying the Tricolour.
The procession began from the National Shramik Aghadi office and passed through Panchsheel Buddha Vihar, Sant Tukaram Nagar Police Station, Maitri Chowk, Jire Topi Chowk, Mahesh Nagar, D. Y. Patil Hospital, YCM Hospital, Acharya Atre Auditorium, Vallabh Nagar and Hutatma Chowk before concluding at the Shramik Aghadi office.
‘Patriotism was visible in every step’: Amit Gorkhe
MLA Amit Gorkhe said the enthusiastic participation of citizens reflected their love for the nation. “Yashwant Bhosale’s patriotism and commitment to social work were clearly visible through this rally. Women’s participation was particularly noteworthy, with several senior women walking five to six kilometres carrying the Tricolour,” he said.
‘Remember the sacrifices of freedom fighters’: Yashwant Bhosale
Yashwant Bhosale said the rally aimed to ensure that the younger generation remembers the sacrifices of freedom fighters.
“Women, youth, workers and citizens participated in large numbers. The Prime Minister’s appeal has strengthened patriotic भावना among citizens. We must remember those who sacrificed their lives for India’s freedom and protect the nation’s unity, integrity and constitutional values,” Bhosale said.
The rally created a strong patriotic atmosphere across Sant Tukaram Nagar and surrounding areas.
