Free Government Scheme Camp Draws Huge Response in Chinchwad
- RamaMangal Foundation organises Ayushman, ABHA, NCMC and voter service camps under MP Shrirang Barne’s guidance
Pimpri : Under the guidance of Maval Lok Sabha MP Shrirang Barne, RamaMangal Foundation organised a free public service camp related to various government welfare schemes on Friday (May 15) at the Gurukrupa Housing Society in Ruston Colony, Chinchwad. The initiative received an enthusiastic response from local residents.
The camps were organised on the occasion of the birthday of Shiv Sena Pune district organiser and RamaMangal Foundation founder-president Santosh Soundankar. Various citizen-centric services including Ayushman Card registration, ABHA Card, NCMC Card for ST bus travel, Prime Minister Vaya Vandana Card, and Special Summary Voter Revision Programme were conducted during the event. A large number of beneficiaries availed themselves of these services.
The programme was attended by MP Shrirang Barne, Shiv Sena deputy leader and corporator Sulabha Ubale, Rambhau Ubale, Sumit Kamble, Suraj Bharate, Santosh Morajkar, Ganesh Ogale, Ashwin Maynale, Nitin Bonde, Subhash Malusare, Firoz Khan, Mahesh Sharma, Vikram Tambe, Swapnil Gade, Vishal Barate, Omprasad Pardeshi, Umesh Pardeshi, Sagar Chavan, Ganesh Gade, Rajnikant Kadam, Bhausaheb Tambe, Ashok Kurade, Sachin Munde, Satyajit Shinde, Mahadev Sharawale, along with several Shiv Sainiks, dignitaries and citizens.
Speaking on the occasion, Santosh Soundankar said that the camps were organised with the objective of serving society through the ideology of “80 percent social work and 20 percent politics.” He said the foundation aims to spread awareness about health and various government welfare schemes among citizens and ensure that eligible beneficiaries receive the benefits of these schemes.
He further announced that RamaMangal Foundation would continue to conduct special outreach drives to take government schemes to the grassroots level. He also pledged to construct a seating platform and protective shed for senior citizens in the locality.
The event received special support from Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation Chief Medical Officer Dr. Laxman Gofane, Dr. Sanjay Sonekar of Talera Hospital, and Dr. Nandkumar More.
