PCMC Launches ‘Swagatam E-Pass’ System for Entry into Main Administrative Building

Pimpri : The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has launched the ‘Swagatam E-Pass’ system to streamline citizen entry into its main administrative building in Pimpri, maintain digital visitor records, and strengthen office security.

The system, introduced on the lines of the Maharashtra government’s ‘Digi Pravesh’ model at Mantralaya, Mumbai, allows citizens to register online for entry through the official PCMC website. Citizens must create a one-time login account using personal details, including Aadhaar number, mobile number, address, and photograph.

After registration, visitors can apply for entry passes, select up to three departments to visit, and download a QR-code-based e-pass for access. The QR code will be scanned at the entrance for quick verification and hassle-free entry.

PCMC Commissioner Dr. Vijay Suryavanshi said the system will help reduce delays, improve visitor management, and provide accurate data on citizen visits to various departments, enabling better administrative planning and services.
