Memorial for Mata Ramai Approved in Pimpri; Work to Begin Soon

Pimpri: The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) Standing Committee has approved the architectural works for a grand memorial dedicated to Mata Ramai at Pimpri Chowk. The project aims to honor her legacy of sacrifice and social contribution, fulfilling a long-pending demand of citizens.

The decision was taken during a meeting held at the civic headquarters in the presence of Municipal Commissioner Dr. Vijay Suryavanshi, along with senior officials including Additional Commissioners Kuldeep Jangam, Trupti Sandbhor, Vikrant Bagade, and City Secretary Mukesh Kolap. The meeting was chaired by Standing Committee Chairman Abhishek Barne.

The memorial, to be constructed at a central location, is expected to serve as a source of inspiration and a landmark of social awareness for future generations.
