PCCOE’s “Akhtari” Wins Third Prize at Firodiya Karandak

Pimpri : The play “Akhtari” performed by the Art Circle team of Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering secured third place at the 52nd Firodiya Karandak held in Pune. The team also won 17 individual awards in various categories.

Student Saniya Mungare received the special “Legendary Performer of the Year” award for her outstanding contribution in writing, acting, direction, and singing.

The play “Akhtari,” written and directed by Anushka Bhoite and Saniya Mungare, portrayed the inspiring journey of Bibbi becoming the legendary singer Begum Akhtar, highlighting her struggle, dedication, and emotional journey in music.

Office bearers of Pimpri Chinchwad Education Trust and PCCOE congratulated the Art Circle team and their mentors for the achievement.
