Long-Pending Road Work Begins in Pimple Saudagar, Major Relief for Residents
Pimpri : In a significant boost to local infrastructure, the long-pending concretisation work of the 18-metre ‘Trioz–Jhulelal Tower’ road in Pimple Saudagar has finally commenced, bringing relief to residents after years of delay.
The project, considered a key connectivity link in the area, had been stalled due to land acquisition issues, technical hurdles, and administrative delays. The incomplete stretch had been causing severe traffic congestion and dust pollution, affecting daily commuters and residents.
The work was initiated following persistent efforts and continuous follow-up by corporators Shatrughna (Bapu) Kate, Anita Kate, and Kunda Bhise. Their coordination with the civic administration helped clear long-standing obstacles and set the project in motion.
Speaking on the occasion, Shatrughna Kate said fulfilling the commitment made to residents during elections was a moment of satisfaction. He described the road as a “lifeline” for the area, connecting multiple residential societies, and assured that the work would be completed swiftly with high quality standards.
Residents and housing society members have welcomed the development, expressing relief over the resolution of a long-standing civic issue. Locals believe the project will significantly improve traffic flow and overall living conditions in Pimple Saudagar.
Several local citizens, entrepreneurs, and community members were present during the commencement of the work, marking the occasion as an important step towards making the area more accessible and better developed.
